Media Meltdown is a queer celebration of cult media, weird pop culture, and childhood nostalgia hosted by Franzia Kafka (Edmond Soun) and Piranha (Sailor Galaviz). From their immersive parties in San Francisco to their series of online drag shows on Twitch, Media Meltdown is known for bringing you the weirdo themes no other drag show dares tackle, taking you on an acid trip through your childhood VHS collection!

Media Meltdown’s programming, which can be viewed on Twitch and on the MM website, includes Franzia and Piranha’s main monthly drag show: a full evening of curated drag performance every third Sunday celebrating some of the zaniest media known to queerkind; and Cinema 420, a weekly cult movie watch party. Every Tuesday, you can join Piranha and Franzia as they watch some of the strangest films ever produced, plus you never know what drag performers may drop in to perform a number related to the film!

“I love when they become different species altogether, like when they became kittens bantering and sassing in a cute back and forth. One of the great streams is when Franzia became a living hot dog for their birthday broadcast. They always strike me as science fiction characters—people of the future, who can morph into anything; they are animal, mineral, fantasy and of course celebrity impersonators on any given broadcast: ANYTHING can happen.”
