ENTER YOUR WORK INTO THE 2024 STUDENTS’ SHOW
Please select up to TWO artworks made between May, 2023 and April, 2024 and bring them to the Art Gallery between Monday, April 22, and Wednesday, April 24, from 10am to 4pm. Please include a completed submission form (top and bottom) for each work. (Submission forms are available on this page for download, or in the Visual and Performing Arts office.)
At least one of your chosen works will be shown. If space permits, both works will be included. This call applies to students and works in ALL Visual and Performing Arts disciplines: ART, DANCE, JOURNALISM, MAD, MUSIC, PHOTOGRAPHY, and THEATRE.
Eligibility, acceptance and requirements:
You must have completed a Visual and Performing Arts Division class in Summer or Fall, 2023 or Spring, 2024
You must provide proof of registration for one of those semesters
A completed submission form must be attached to each entry (available on this page for download, or in the Visual and Performing Arts office)
Work must be finished and ready to be shown. All works on paper must be framed in black, white, brown, or metallic frames. (An exception will be made only for works in which a colored frame is inherently part of the piece.) Check out Ikea’s Ribba series. Very professional and affordable. Note: There will be a limited number of frames available on drop-off days for students for whom the purchase of a frame would be cost prohibitive. Framing assistance will also be available in the Gallery on drop-off days.
There are size/time restrictions. If you plan on making a piece larger than 5ft x 4ft, or want to submit a live performance, installation, etc. please email us at CCAGstudentshow@gmail.com.
We recommend that you ask your instructor(s) for help when selecting and preparing work.
And last but not least…the Gallery reserves the right to exclude works that it considers to be unsuitable for public display
IMPORTANT DATES
Summer and Fall 2023, and Spring 2024: Artworks made within this time frame are eligible for submission in the show.
Monday April 22 – Wednesday April 24, 10am – 4pm: Bring your work to the Art Gallery, with completed submission form/s
Tuesday, May 7 – Monday, May 20: Student Art Exhibition
Tuesday, May 7, 6-8pm: Opening Reception
Monday, May 20, 10am - 4pm: Collect work from Gallery (student ID required)
