Kirk Pickler

Kirk Pickler is an artist, art facilitator, explorer and lifelong resident of Southern California. As an artist, Kirk has worked in ceramic and experimental music/sound art. Working independently and in ensembles, his current works consist of recordings, performances and installations. 

Kirk has performed at Synchronicity Space, Il Corral, Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, MorYork Gallery, Torrance Art Museum, The Wignall Museum of Contemporary art, as well as the IAMINDUST festival, Wonder Valley Experimental Music Festival, Santa Ana Noise Festival, and Thee Dung Mummy. 

Kirk began professional exhibition installation work in 2001. He has since worked as a gallery preparator and/or instructional assistant at Santiago Canyon College, Santa Ana College, Otis College, and the Orange County Fair. He has been the full-time Art Instructional Assistant at Cypress College since 2014. 

Kirk earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona where he studied Ceramics, Art History, Education and Regenerative Studies.
