Adaptive Vision II continues the digital space tradition set forth last year in response to the worldwide Covid-19 Pandemic. Last year, Cypress College Gallery Studies students made the following statement, which still applies:
Responding to our communal shift into digital space , Cypress College Gallery Studies students are pleased to present the Annual Cypress College Students’ Show online. Titled Adaptive Vision 2020, the exhibition includes work by students from all of the Fine Arts Division disciplines: Art, Journalism, Dance, Theater, MAD, Photography, Music.
Art student Hendrik Deuning, who coined the exhibition title, describes it as a play on words. "It refers to artistic vision, but also 20/20 vision. We will adapt and prevail over the pandemic and our artistic vision will remain 20/20 – that is, perfect!” CCAG offers many congratulations to all in our student body whose creative vision continues to prevail!
